What happens if my payment is refused?

When you pay, a request for authorisation is sent to your bank. If your payment is refused and/or is incorrect, this is due to the payment method you are using. There may be several causes:

- your card number has been entered incorrectly

- your card has expired

- your card’s credit limit has been reached

- the “3D Secure” authentication code sent by your bank has expired

- your bank suspects a fraudulent payment

In any case, your bank or card issuer has refused the payment. Please place another order and try another payment method and/or contact your bank. It is possible for certain banks, even if the payment is not authorised, that the debit will appear on your bank account. In some cases the funds are reserved for a short period but are not debited.
